Logroño, (EFE).- Some 300 people, according to the organization, have gathered this Saturday in front of the Government Delegation in La Rioja with the slogan “Logroño against sexual violence: no aggression without response. They touch one of us, they touch us all”.
The concentration, convened by the Feminist Movement of La Rioja, has shown its rejection of what happened on April 9 in a storage room of a portal on Avenida de Navarra street, in Logroño.
There, two girls aged 12 and 13 were sexually assaulted, and for what 5 minors between 14 and 17 years of age have been arrested as alleged perpetrators; while 2 out of 13 have remained under the guardianship of their parents.
“They touch one of us, they touch us all”
“They touch one of us, they touch us all”, “no aggression without response”, “pornography, abolition”, “no is no, the rest is rape” and “sister, you are not alone, here is your pack” are some of the slogans that have been chanted during the concentration, which has ended with applause and support and solidarity with the victims and their families.
A manifesto has been read, in which this movement has demanded that the authorities “act with the utmost speed and forcefulness so that justice is done” and “all the necessary resources are made available to the minors and their environment”.
It has also called for the development of a feminist action plan to implement “a real and effective coeducational model, education in and for equality” at all educational stages, with “an abolitionist approach to pornography and prostitution.” EFE.
