Valencia (EFE) after 28M – “miracles to Lourdes”, he has replied – or the one from Vox to the PP that they need them to govern and they are not going to give them a “blank check”.
Commitment: “miracles in Lourdes”
In the Botànic part, the trustee of Compromís, Papi Robles, has considered that this legislature has had “some mythical moment”, alluding to the declarations of the socialist deputy José Muñoz that the PSPV-PSOE aspires to govern alone the next legislature, about what he said: “miracles to Lourdes”.
Compromís “is and will be fundamental in the consolidation of the new Botanical Government”, so “whoever wants to dream, let them dream”, added Robles, who has downplayed the differences within the Botanic that have been seen in the last plenary session, since it has considered that “the norm” have been the agreements.
PSPV: “the future is written”
The socialist deputy José Muñoz has insisted on the “certainty” that Ximo Puig will once again be the president of the Generalitat and that his party has “very good prospects”, for which he hopes to achieve “broad support” from the Valencians and in being able to govern “with the maximum possible freedom and the maximum social majority”.
He has assured that the PSPV “is going for everything” on May 28, the day on which they trust that the Valencians will vote “massively and in the majority” for President Puig, and before the “message” from Compromís he has replied that he is “agnostic, not little miracles”, but he is confident that “the future is not written” and is committed to the PSPV-PSOE at the polls.
Unides Podem: “Let’s go for more”
From the third leg of the Botànic, Unides Podem, its trustee, Pilar Lima, has indicated that the Botànic has been the “longest lasting coalition government in the history of democracy” and a “laboratory of democracy”, and has opined that it is necessary to “play down the drama of the differences”.
He has affirmed that the objective of his formation is to reissue a third Botànic, although with a different correlation of forces in order to expedite policies, and he has assured that they are going “for more”, since Podem was born to “prevent the right-wing from governing”.
Vox: “We are not going to give the PP a blank check”
From the opposition, the Vox trustee, Ana Vega, has predicted that on May 28 there will be “a very good change” for the Valencian Community, after which if the PP wants to govern it will need Vox, “a faithful partner” and that says “things very clear”.
“We are not going to give the PP a blank check, obviously, but it is our only possible partner when it comes to forming governments,” Vega said, adding that they are going to “reach out” to the PP to do in the Community Valencian the same as in Castilla y León, and has reiterated that they aspire to have the vice presidency of the Consell, although depending on the support they obtain they will demand “more or less”.
Vega, who has revealed that he will be the head of the list for Alicante in the regional elections and that Llanos Massó will be for Castellón, has stated that they have many proposals for a future government: first, “repeal all ideological rubbish” and one of his ” great premises” will be a law of educational freedom, “to put an end to linguistic immersion”.
PP: “The end of the cycle” of the Botanic is evident
In the PP, the deputy Miguel Barrachina has stated that in this last plenary session there is evidence of “the end of the cycle, the decomposition and the contradictions of Botànic, which will vote “separated and fought” on important issues, which he has attributed to a “lack of of leadership” by Ximo Puig, which is paid by the Valencians and causes them “enormous damage”.
And in Ciudadanos, the deputy Fernando Llopis has indicated that his formation has tried to “maintain sanity” while the others were with “their sectarianisms”, supporting proposals from other groups if they considered that they were “good for Valencians, regardless of where they came from ”, and making proposals.
