The counselor has indicated that, also in 2024, free will be generalized for all students after in the course that will begin in September they will no longer pay for this service 75% of its users as rents are exempt from payment relatives under 42,000 euros.
According to the head of Education, it would have been “irresponsible” on the part of the Principality not to have used the “unforeseen” 13 million euros that Asturias received to extend a network that will have increased its number of places by 1,400 in two years by the end of 2023 .
We can ask for labor equality
Espina has made these statements in his response to the plenary session of the Asturian parliament, the last of the current legislature, to a question from the deputy of Podemos Nuria Rodríguez about what actions are going to be carried out to unify the rights of the workers of the schools of 0-3.
Rodríguez has called for unifying criteria on the working conditions of a group that is hired by the city councils and that presents very different situations, both in terms of salary and access to jobs, and has warned that it is difficult to guarantee quality education in this cycle if The situation of its workers, the vast majority of whom are women, is not equal.
