Madrid (EFE).- The transport strike called in Germany has forced the cancellation of 81 of the 191 flights that were scheduled for this Monday between Spain and Germany, Aena sources have informed EFE.
According to these data, so far 41 arrivals and 40 departures have been cancelled, explains the airport manager, who at the moment does not have data on the airports and airlines affected.
The strike called for this Monday in Germany by the Ver.di service sector union and the EVG railway union could paralyze public transport in the country and leave some 380,000 passengers on the ground at airports alone, in the largest protest of its kind convened in the country in decades.
