Barracas (Castellón) (EFE).- The President of the Government, Pedro Sánchez, assured this Monday during his visit to the command post of the fire that is still active in the interior of Castellón that he guarantees “all the commitment of the Government when the calls to tackle the task of recovery.”
“The most important thing is that we do not have to lament the loss of human life. With the fire still alive, we have to ask for caution,” said Sánchez, who also highlighted solidarity for the reception of the nearly 1,700 evacuees due to the fire since last Thursday, both from the towns of Castellón and Teruel.
On the other hand, it has offered “all solidarity and recognition” to the fourteen firefighters who have been slightly injured in the extinction work, and who are already recovered. “We must highlight not only his professionalism, but his determination and commitment to contain this fire.”
