Madrid (EFE) Barracks case.
Marlaska has appeared, at his own request, in the Interior Commission of Congress to explain the development of the investigations that began in 2016 regarding the alleged irregularities in works and reforms of barracks and that, according to what he has said, were reactivated when the PSOE was in the Moncloa.
“Yes, ladies and gentlemen, it is a case of corruption that affects the PP. One more”, emphasized the Minister of the Interior, who has contrasted the “high ethical commitment” of the socialist government with “wide brush” behavior on the part of “those who have to keep quiet the most”.
The head of the Interior wanted to make a chronology of the investigations of the case that began when in 2016 the Internal Affairs unit of the Civil Guard learned that the award of works contracts in body facilities to a businessman – Angel Ramón Tejera de León, alias Mon, although he has not named it- had increased, with a turnover of 2.11 million euros.
