Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, Mar 23 (EFE).- The Government of the Canary Islands hopes to send the decree on teleworking for public employees of the autonomous community to the Advisory Council next week, and then approve it, the Minister of the Presidency has informed Julio Perez.
“It will be a unique form of benefit that affects citizens and it is wrong that it is only addressed as a matter between the workers and the Government,” said the counselor.
Likewise, he stressed that “teleworking is not a right of workers, it is a way of organizing work”.
The decree that the Executive has already sent to the ministries and legal services is more complete than the regulations inherited from the pandemic.
The counselor has indicated that there will be necessarily face-to-face jobs that will not be able to take advantage of the teleworking modality. EFE
