Madrid (EFE).- The general director of the Civil Guard, María Gámez, has submitted her resignation to the Minister of the Interior, Fernando Grande-Marlaska, according to sources from the armed institute.
Gámez will announce her decision in an institutional statement and, according to the sources consulted, resigns due to the investigations that affect her husband due to awards from the Junta de Andalucía.
