Elche (Alicante) (EFE).- Elche has announced this Monday, through a statement, the dismissal of coach Pablo Machín after the defeat in San Sebastián and the critical sporting situation of the team, 14 points from permanence.
The coach, who came to the position with the team as bottom team, has led Elche in 12 league games, in which he has only added two wins and three draws, giving up six defeats.
Since his arrival, the Elche team’s sensations have improved, but they have never been able to get out of the last position and the distance with respect to permanence has not stopped growing with the days.
The Soriano coach, who arrived at the club last November, was the third coach of the Elche team this season after Francisco Rodríguez and Jorge Almirón, in addition to the club’s interim coaches who led a game, such as Alberto Gallego and Sergio shortbread
The club, in a statement, wanted to thank the coach for “the work and commitment” during his time at the entity and wishes him all the luck in his professional career.
As reported by the club, the coaching staff of the first team will be in charge of directing the training session this Monday pending the signing of a new coach.
