Pamplona (EFE) denounced that “there is a difference in treatment” with groups such as “doctors and the Foral Police”.
The demonstration, which has left from the Golem cinemas, has marched along Bayona avenue, Ejército, Plaza de la Paz, Conde Oliveto, Príncipe de Viana, Baja Navarra avenue, Merindades, Carlos III and Plaza del Castillo where it ended.
The spokespersons for the strike committee, Iván Irisarri and Begoña Ruiz, have explained in statements to the media that the mobilization is part of the call for a strike for the next 23rd, which can be avoided if the Government is capable of “reaching to agreements sufficiently guaranteeing to improve the working conditions of the entire Navarro Health System”.

Ruiz has commented that the inter-union has received a counterproposal from Health, which they have studied but have not shared among the unions, and that on Tuesday they will meet with the Government to give an answer and see if it is possible to call off the strike.
The “culmination” of the union
The demonstration “is the culmination of the union of the unions that form the inter-union of Health and the citizenry that defends public services and quality health. Decent working conditions are going to make citizen care much better and for the Government to make an effort to ensure that the public system leads”.
The calling unions have criticized that “there is a difference in treatment when an agreement has been reached with some and we have a call for a strike on the 23rd and we have nothing on the table.”
“It is clear that the Government offers salary improvements for some groups and not for others. It is clear which groups have benefited, such as doctors or the Provincial Police”, added Irisarri.
In this sense, they have shown their “disappointment” because the parliamentary majority has not positioned itself as expected: “They accept the poor response from the Government as good. We didn’t expect anything from other parties because the problems come from the time in which they governed”.
The inter-union strike, if it takes place, will be on the same day that Parliament is expected to approve the agreement between Health and the Medical Union, with salary increases of 400 euros per month and improvements in working conditions.
We cannot resign ourselves to the current situation, and we have to announce that, if they do not take action, they will face us. Rights are defended with union, citizen and professional mobilizations”, they concluded.
