Increased cloudiness and precipitation in part of the peninsula
The State Meteorological Agency (Aemet) foresees an increase in cloudiness in several peninsular points, with precipitation in the western half of the peninsula and a large part of the northeastern interior.
The rains will be locally persistent in western Galicia, and there will be intervals of strong winds on the Galician coast, the Basque coast, the Pyrenees and the Canary Islands.
Predominance of cloudy skies and probability of light rains in the entire western half of the peninsula, which will tend to cease in the afternoon to the south of the Central system; cloudiness will increase in the second half of the day in the rest of the Peninsula, with probable weak rainfall in much of the interior northeast.
Little cloudy skies or with medium and high clouds in the Mediterranean area; in the Canary Islands, cloudy intervals to the north of the islands, with weak precipitations in those of greater relief, and little cloudiness in the south.
Snow level: in the northwest of the peninsula it will be more than 2,000 meters, dropping to 1,300/1,500; in the Pyrenees, 1,800/2,000.
Morning mists can form at points on the eastern coast of the peninsula, the surroundings of Melilla and the Ebro valley.
Decreasing maximum temperatures except in the northwest of Galicia and the Mediterranean area, where they will remain with little change; the decrease will be notable in a good part of the interior of the peninsula. Minimums in descent in mountainous areas of the Peninsula and with few changes or in ascent in the rest; there will be weak frosts in the Pyrenees.
Intervals of strong wind from the southwest direction on the coast of Galicia and from the south on the Basque coast and the Pyrenees, from east and southeast directions in the Balearic Islands and the peninsular northeast, and from west or southwest directions in the rest of the Peninsula; in the Canary Islands, wind from the northeast, with some strong intervals.

-GALICIA: cloudy with persistent and occasionally intense rains on the Atlantic coast. Snow level around 1,500 meters and reduced visibility in high inland areas due to low cloud cover. Minimum temperatures in decline in the southeast and with few changes in the rest, maximum temperatures in decline, less pronounced on the coast and that will be locally notable in the interior. Winds from south and southwest directions with strong intervals on the coast between Finisterre and Estaca de Bares and with very strong gusts in areas north of Lugo.
-ASTURIAS: cloudy sky or with cloudy intervals leaving reduced visibility in high inland areas due to low cloudiness and with precipitation that will be occasionally intense during the afternoon. Snow level around 1,500 meters. Minimum temperatures in decline in the Cordillera and with slight changes in the rest, maximum temperatures in decline, notable in the west and locally in the Cordillera. Wind from south and southwest directions, weak on the eastern coast and with strong intervals and very strong gusts in high areas of the Cordillera.
-CANTABRIA: cloudy sky and with cloudy intervals, with reduced visibility in high areas of the Cordillera due to low cloudiness; weak, more likely and frequent rainfall in the afternoon. Declining temperatures, more pronounced in the interior. On the coast, light wind of variable direction; in the interior, wind from south and southwest directions with strong intervals and probable very strong gusts in high areas of the Cordillera.
-BASQUE COUNTRY: cloudy sky with weak showers more likely during the afternoon. Declining temperatures, more pronounced in the maximum in the south. South direction wind with strong intervals on the coast and the east of the Community that will tend to loose at the end.
-CASTILLA Y LEÓN: cloudy sky with light rain, occasionally accompanied by storms in the northwest. The snow level can drop to about 1,600 meters at the end. Mountain fog banks. Minimum temperatures in decline in high areas and in slight ascent in the rest; highs in notable decline. Southwesterly wind with strong gusts in the central hours of the day.
-NAVARRE: cloudy sky with occasional showers in the second half of the day. Minimum temperatures falling in the north and slightly rising in the rest that will leave scattered weak frosts in the Pyrenees; descending maximum, locally notable in the Pyrenees. Wind from south and southeast directions with very strong gusts in northern areas, tending to loose at the end.
-LA RIOJA: cloudy intervals with weak rainfall. Minimum temperatures in decline in high areas and in slight ascent in the valley; highs in notable decline. Southwest wind in the mountains and southeast in the valley, decreasing to variable loose.
-ARAGÓN: cloudy intervals, increasing to cloudy skies in the northern third in the afternoon, and probable morning mists at points in the Ebro depression. Showers are expected in the northern third during the second half of the day, which will be more likely in the northwest ; they are not discarded in the rest in a dispersed and occasional way.
Snow level in the Pyrenees above 1,700-1,800 meters. Minimum temperatures without changes or in slight ascent and maximum in descent. Light to moderate wind, from the south in the Pyrenees, from the southwest in the Iberian System and from the southeast in the rest; In the early hours, very strong gusts will be likely at high levels of the Pyrenees.
-CATALONIA: cloudy intervals, increasing in the afternoon to cloudy skies in the Pyrenees, and low morning cloudiness with probable mists in points of the southern third and the coast and pre-coastal. -CASTILLA – LA MANCHA: cloudy sky tending to cloudy intervals in the afternoon, without ruling out light rains, more likely in the northwest. Minimum temperatures in decline in mountain areas and without significant changes in the rest; highs in notable decline, except in the southeast where they will remain unchanged. Loose wind from the south component, tending to the west component and getting worse from noon.
-VALENCIA COMMUNITY: cloudy intervals, with probable morning mists and without ruling out some weak and occasional precipitation in the interior of the northern third in the afternoon. Temperatures without significant changes except for decreases in the maximum in inland areas of Castellón and Valencia.
