Valladolid, Mar 17 (EFE).- Criminal offenses increased by 14.4 percent in Castilla y León during 2022 compared to the previous year, figures that in the case of cybercrime represented an increase of 29 percent in Community, according to the latest crime report from the Ministry of the Interior, released this Friday.
The data from the Ministry include for the first time criminal offenses in the field of cybercrime which, in the case of Castilla y León, in 2022, represented a growth of 32.7 in computer fraud and 4.9 in that of other types of cybercrimes.
In general, conventional crime rose 14.4 percent, going from 57,328 offenses in 2021 to 65,611 during the past year.
13.8% growth in crimes against sexual freedom
In crimes against sexual freedom, the increase was 13.8%, going from 470 to 535, while intentional homicides and completed murders rose from thirteen to sixteen (23.1%), and these two same crimes, but to a lesser degree. attempted, rose from 25 to 39, 56%.
Serious and less serious crimes of injuries and riots went from 745 in 2021 to 1,034 in 2022 in Castilla y León, which represents an increase of 38.8%, and kidnappings increased by one, from two counted in 2021 to three in 2022.
The rise in robberies with violence and intimidation was 15.4%, from 625 to 721, and robberies with force at homes, establishments and other facilities represented an increase of 14.7%, from 3,799 to 4,357.
Home robberies also increased, from 2,523 to 2,969 (17.7%) and thefts, from 13,785 to 17,376 (26.1%), and vehicle thefts, from 466 to 523 (12.2%). .
Drug trafficking was the only section that registered a decrease, of 2.4 percent, with 492 offenses in 2021 and 480 in 2022.

By provinces, in Castilla y León, criminal offenses in general only decreased in Ávila, with a decrease of 0.8%, going from 4,086 to 4,055.
The greatest increase was registered in Soria, 26.6%, from 1,862 to 2,358, followed by León with 23.2%, from 10,332 to 12,729, and in Salamanca 20.3%, from 7,338 to 8,831.
In Segovia the rise was 16.9, from 3,487 offenses to 4,076; in Zamora 15.7%, from 3,807 to 4,406; in Palencia 13%, from 3,184 to 3,598; in Burgos 10.7%, from 9,512 to 10,527, and in Valladolid 9.6%, from 13,720 to 15,031.
In general, in Spain, crime grew by 18.8 percent last year compared to 2021, an increase that reached 33.9 percent in reported violations. EFE
