According to the trade balance published this Thursday by the Ministry of Industry, Commerce and Tourism, Spanish merchandise exports stood at 30,921 million in January, 16.2% more, while imports rebounded 5.3%, up to 34,876 million.
Thus, the coverage rate -the part of exports that can be covered with imports- stood at 88.7%, 8.4 points more than a year earlier.
