It will be the second time this season that the elastic Barça player will promote musical creation through Spotify, the main commercial partner of the Catalan club.
In the Madrid-Barça match on October 16, the team led by Xavi Hernández already wore the logo of Canadian singer-songwriter Drake. Now, it is the turn of Rosalía, the most international Catalan singer of the moment.
This time, the first women’s soccer team will also join this musical initiative and will wear the ‘Motomami’ logo in the Clásico against Real Madrid that will be played on Saturday, March 25 at the Johan Cruyff Stadium.
Network content
The blaugrana entity and Spotify have broadcast different audiovisual content on their respective social networks to introduce fans to this event.
One of these pieces is an advert in which a Camp Nou lawn caretaker is seen suddenly letting go of the machine that marks the lines of the pitch and drawing the logo in the middle of the pitch from ‘Motomami’. And they have also created two limited edition t-shirt collections to commemorate the event.
Barça and Spotify have chosen Rosalía because this month marks the first anniversary of the release of the album ‘Motomami’, her third studio album and which has received international critical acclaim and, among other distinctions, the Grammy for Best alternative or rock latin album.
In 2022 Rosalía was the most played Spanish artist in the world on Spotify. The reproductions of her songs on this streaming service grew by 110% during that year and she was also the female artist that sounded the most in the city of Barcelona through Spotify.
