Gijón (EFE).- The new university entrance exam, which will begin to be implemented in June 2024 in application of the new educational law, is “examined” this Tuesday with a pilot test with students from 50 educational centers in 10 communities , plus Ceuta and Melilla.
Catalonia, Asturias, Cantabria, La Rioja, the Valencian Community, Castilla-La Mancha, the Canary Islands, Navarra, Extremadura and the Balearic Islands and Ceuta and Melilla -all the autonomies except those governed by the PP (which rejects the new model), Aragon and País Vasco- participate in this trial.
The piloting will be done in a group of 1st Baccalaureate from each of the selected centers and the degree of adaptation of the students to this type of competency test, the time established for the exercises and the reliability of the correction, among others, will be analyzed. things.
Its subsequent analysis will make it possible to make decisions based on evidence regarding the final test model for each subject that will be taken in the 2nd year of Baccalaureate from 2024, and modify, where appropriate, the aspects that are determined.
The students will only do two exercises: one of a common subject and another of the compulsory subject of the modality they are studying. In this pilot, the common subjects of the 1st year of Baccalaureate that have a continuity in the 2nd year will be evaluated.
The tests, which will be corrected by university teachers who are specialists in the subjects evaluated and ESO, will be accompanied by questionnaires and personal interviews, aimed at finding out the opinion of the students on their structure, content and technical characteristics.
In the pilot there will be no History of Spain exam since this subject is taught in the 2nd year of Baccalaureate and the entrance exam for these students will be identical to that of the last year.
