Seville, (EFE).- Andalusia accumulates 15,881 deaths as a result of covid-19 three years after the declaration of the State of Alarm for the pandemic, which has infected 1,634,967 people, after the 767 new cases in the last week.
According to the data offered by the Ministry of Health and Consumption, 135 people currently remain in Andalusian hospitals, after the 21 that have been registered during the last week, while those admitted to ICUs remain at eight.
By provinces, Malaga has 31, two of them in the ICU, followed by Cádiz with 24 people and none in the ICU; Jaén, 17 hospitalized and one in the ICU; Seville, with 15 and four in the UCI; Granada with 14 and none in the ICU; Córdoba, with 13 admitted and zero in the ICU; Huelva with ten and one in the ICU; and Almería, with ten and one in the ICU.
Increased incidence in people over 60 years of age
The incidence of infections in Andalusia in the last 14 days in people over 60 years of age has risen this last week to 33.40 per 100,000 inhabitants, which is 6.1 points more than seven days ago.
The number of infected in the last week was 767, thirteen people died and hospitalizations increased by 183, according to data provided by the Ministry.
As for vaccines, the Andalusian community has administered a total of 20,329,773 doses until yesterday -4,197 more in the last week- and a total of 7,485,910 Andalusians have the complete regimen while 7,642,072 have at least one dose, while 1,538,725 people already have the second memory dose.
88.07 percent of the population has the complete regimen and 89.90 percent have received at least the first dose. EFE
