València (EFE).- The municipality of Castelló de la Plana has marked this Saturday the highest minimum and maximum temperatures of the day, with 19.4 degrees and 30.8 degrees respectively, record figures in a month of March since 1912 .
As reported by the State Meteorological Agency (Aemet), today’s average temperature in Castelló was 25.1 degrees, the equivalent of July 5.
In the interior of the province of Castellón the maximums have reached 19.4 degrees this Saturday in Villafranca del Cid, 18.7 degrees in Morella and 16.7 degrees in Castellfort.
The city of Valencia reaches 26.9º
In the province of Valencia, the highest maximum has been registered by Miramar with 28.2 degrees, followed by Llíria with 28 degrees, Valencia airport with 27.6 degrees, the capital has reached 26.9 degrees and Xàtiva 25, 9 degrees.
In the southern regions, the Alicante capital has marked 29.5 degrees, the municipalities of Xàbia and Elche 29.4 degrees, Alcoi with 24.6 degrees and Pinoso with 24.1 degrees.
