Valencia (EFE) give way to sea breezes that will slightly lower the highs from Wednesday.
According to the information provided to EFE by José Ángel Núñez, head of the Climatology service of the State Meteorological Agency in Valencia, from Friday the 17th you could continue enjoying the traditional “fallero” weather, with a warm atmosphere in the morning and cool in the evening. afternoon, although there is more uncertainty about the evolution in this period.
Until Tuesday the 14th, a continuation of the weather of the last days is expected, that is, the west wind that arrives in Valencia dry and overheated, so that the temperatures will be much higher than the normal values for these dates.

The warm peak, during the weekend and Monday
The warm peak is expected to occur over the weekend and Monday, when it can exceed 30 degrees at noon.
The nights will also be especially warm, like the early mornings, which with a minimum of 18 degrees have been the highest in the last twenty years in a month of March.
Until Tuesday, little cloudy skies or the passage of high clouds will predominate, without precipitation and with a west wind, which can be the most annoying phenomenon for the plant, since gusts are foreseeable in the central hours that will generally oscillate between 40 and 50 km/h, with some moments in which it can approach 60 km/h, but decreasing in intensity at sunset and until noon.
On Wednesday the 15th and Thursday the 16th, the trend is for the west wind to cease, due to an anticyclone coming from Portugal, which will give rise to light winds with a breeze regime starting at noon. This cool breeze will be more noticeable in maritime neighborhoods and in open areas of the city.
As of Friday the 17th, Aemet considers that the weather would continue without too many changes, although it warns that it is too far away for a reliable forecast.

The historical precedent of the Fallas 2022
The Fallas of 2022 were, according to Aemet records, historic: the rainiest since climate records exist and also the least sunny, since the sun was barely seen in the city of Valencia for an hour and twenty minutes in the hours centers on the 18th.
And it is that during the central days of the festivities, 42.5 liters per square meter fell, the historical maximum of the series.
More than half of the accumulated precipitation was recorded during the early morning of the 17th, and the rest of the period between March 15 and 19, the rains were weak and intermittent.
In addition, the average temperature was 0.3 degrees below the normal average, although the Fallas felt much colder due to wind and rain.
