Madrid, Mar 10 (EFE).- The Basque Country, Cantabria and Galicia face Friday’s orange alert due to coastal phenomena, with waves that can reach 7 meters, according to data from the State Meteorological Agency (Aemet).
On the Basque coast there will be a combined northwesterly sea with waves of 5 to 7 meters and a force seven west wind (50 to 61 km/h) offshore during the early morning.
On the coast of Cantabria the situation will be similar, with a combined sea from the northwest of 5 to 7 meters and a wind from the west or northwest force 7.
In Lugo and Coruña, the Aemet combined northeast sea alert with waves of 5 to 6 meters, combined with a force 7 southwest wind, which will reach force 8 (62 to 74 km/h) around Bares and offshore.
The Aemet has also placed eleven provinces on yellow alert for winds of up to 70 kilometers and five other coastal phenomena.
