Bilbao (EFE).- The Civil Guard has dismantled in Bizkaia an organization dedicated to trafficking in human beings for the purpose of sexual exploitation and drug trafficking.
Several arrests have been made in the police operation and various material has been seized in the searches carried out in different homes.
Records at various addresses
As reported to EFE by sources of the investigation, Civil Guard agents have searched several homes in the Biscayan towns of Barakaldo, Fruiz and the Bilbao neighborhood of Zorroza.
Women victims of trafficking were held in these places and it is where several people have been detained.
Agents equipped with rifles and bulletproof vests and with their heads covered have searched homes on Ibarra de Barakaldo street and the road between Zorroza and Castrejana.
In the search carried out in a single-family house with three floors located next to this road, in the municipality of Bilbao, the agents have arrested a woman.
The operation, which is under the secrecy of the summary, is still open and more searches and arrests may take place, according to the same sources. EFE
