València (EFE).- The president of CaixaBank, José Ignacio Goirigolzarri, and the Jaume I award for the best entrepreneur of 2022, Ángela Pérez, will lead the conferences of the financial-business forum Forinvest, which is held on Wednesday 8 and Thursday 9 March at Valencia Fair.
Forinvest is organized into five forums dedicated to current affairs, where national and international experts from the financial sector debate and analyze current issues; to insurance, as a business space for the insurance sector and for reflection on sector trends; to the tax advisor; to innovation; and personal finances.
In this edition, Forinvest is celebrated, for the first time in its 16-year history, in Alicante and Castelló with conferences and face-to-face events.
On the night of March 7, Forinvest will host Finance Night, which this year will feature a presentation on “Opportunities in times of crossroads” in a dialogue format between Manuel Escudero, ambassador and representative of
Spain before the OECD and president of the OECD Development Center, and Mira Milosevich, from the Elcano Royal Institute, a specialist in strategy for Russia and Eurasia.
At this gala prior to the opening of the forum, the Forinvest awards will be presented to outstanding professionals from the world of economy and business.

On Wednesday the 8th, the Chairman of CaixaBank, José Ignacio Goirigolzarri, will give the conference “The banking sector in the new environment”, and on Thursday the 9th, Ángela Pérez, Jaume I Award for Best Entrepreneur of 2022, founder of Health in Code, researcher in the field of biomedicine and the study of complete genomes, which currently chairs the Bio Cluster of entities of the Valencian Community, Bioval and is part of the Board of Adeit.
On the first day, the third meeting of women insurers will take place; a presentation by the digital manager of Telefónica, Chema Alonso, on web3 and tokens; round tables on industry 5.0, cybersecurity, the future of the technology industry in Spain, the digitization of insurers; the presentation “The world of insurance according to the new startups”; and the presentation of the Skylab Valencia startup acceleration program.
Low volatility investment alternatives, trends in the digital health sector, mortgage prospects, or the impact of digital transformation in the sports sector will be discussed.
The CEO of Ibercaja, Víctor Iglesias, will talk about the future of the banking sector and the never-ending story of transformation.
The head of sustainable finance solutions of this entity, Francisco Sanz, will make the investment with sustainable criteria such as fashion or necessity
Conferences, round tables, opportunity forums…
A forum on investment opportunities in the Mediterranean is scheduled for Thursday, a round table on the economic prospects for this year, new technological formats in the education sector, challenges in the financial system, artificial intelligence in the insurance sector, and how to find investors, resources and financing for a startup.
General Félix Sanz Roldán, former director of the CNI and former chief of the Defense Staff, will close Forinvest with a conference on the world order after the invasion of Ukraine and the geopolitical changes derived from the war.
