Madrid (EFE) do not reach an agreement: “we are not going to vote with the PP to return to the Penal Code of the Pack”.
Five days after Congress debates the consideration of the PSOE’s reform proposal on the “only yes is yes” law to curb the pernicious effects that the application of the law by the Ministry of Equality has had in some cases, the purples still hope to reach an agreement, but if they don’t they will vote against it.

This agreement does not seem likely since the PSOE has not responded to the last request of Equality to meet in order to reach a consensus before the debate, something that Echenique has once again reproached the Socialists in statements in the Lower House.
He has insisted that the PSOE initiative “returns to the Penal Code of the Pack” and that is why he hopes to reach an understanding on this point before the debate on Tuesday and not reach “that little edifying spectacle” that the socialist initiative will go ahead with the votes of the PP and Vox.
The PSOE, said the spokesman, “should bet on a feminist agreement in the Chamber and within the Government, and not rely on the Popular Party.”
