He has assured that he did not meet more hunters, although he knew there were more people because he heard shots, and he has acknowledged that he was carrying a Beretta shotgun that day, which they have shown him during the oral hearing and that he has admitted that it is his.
He has denied that he shot the victim and has also denied that he had any previous altercation with the man who was injured.

The man who was shot appeared at the trial as a witness and explained that on the day of the events he went with his brother and his dog to hunt in the area known as the hawthorns.
At one point, when he was behind his brother, a few meters away, he saw “Amandín” -the defendant- approaching him and, since he did not want anything to do with him, he separated from the boundary in the direction of his brother, moments when those who turned their backs on the defendant.
“I didn’t have time for more, he shot me”, “I was left stiff”, assured the victim, who narrated how he fell to the ground on his knees, turned and snapped at the defendant “you have killed me”.
“I started to get dizzy” because I felt “a plate of fire on my back,” the victim recounted, before stating that the defendant stood looking at him with the shotgun, motionless, and said nothing.
He waved his arms for his brother to come to his aid and when he reached him he told him that “Amandín” had shot him, who, as he explained four years ago, also shot him with pellets, in addition to threatening him on another occasion, telling him that if He shot him in the head, he was going to be so comfortable, moments in which the victim ran away.
Asked why these incidents occurred, the witness considered that he could not see them there – he lives in Santander although he used to go to Villalba de los Alcores, where he has a house and where his mother is from.

The victim’s brother has detailed that he heard a shot and saw the wounded man wave his arms at him while he was on his knees and, when he reached him and asked him what had happened, he told him: “Amandín shot me.”
He has specified that the alleged author had problems with more people, according to what they say in the town, and that he had also had them because he was hunting in that place.
The Prosecutor’s Office provisionally classifies the facts as a crime of attempted murder for which he is demanding nine years in prison, in addition to the prohibition to approach the residence of the victim, the affected person, his brother and other relatives, their homes, places of work or to others that they usually frequent, in addition to prohibiting communication with them by any means.
The prohibitions will have a duration of five years greater than the duration of the prison sentence, according to the prosecutor’s complaint.
It also requests the payment of compensation of 8,540 euros for the days of treatment, 3,893 euros for the aftermath and 3,812 euros to Sacyl for the assistance provided. EFE
