Specifically, the popular municipal group has indicated that it was awarded, by the Police and Fire Department of the Valencia City Council, directed by the PSPV, the purchase of drones, batteries and propellers in three contracts, one of about 14,000 euros, another of 2,300 and a third of 1,100 euros.
For the PP, this “highlights the entry into the Valencia City Council of the socialist procurer”, while its municipal spokesperson, María José Catalá, has denounced the concealment of these contracts for not having uploaded them to the State contracting platform as provided by law.
“It is evident that they did not want these hirings to be known by finger,” said Catalá, who has asked the PSOE in the City Council for explanations for these contracts.
From the PP they have appreciated that it was the Local Government Board who awarded the three contracts by hand, to companies belonging to one of the defendants in the “Mediator Case”.
The contracts
The first of these was a minor supply contract to the company Asesoramiento y servicios de drones SL for two UAS (drones) in order to have a tool to coordinate rescue operations or assess emergency situations.
The contract is dated March 2021 and its budget totaled 14,052.75 euros including VAT.
The second is a minor supply contract with the same company for the acquisition of two UAS under 250 gr., Unmanned Aerial System (drones), with extra propeller protectors and batteries, for an amount of 2,299 euros (VAT included). .
The third of the contracts with this company contemplated the supply of 6 batteries and 2 sets of propellers for a total of 1,161.60 euros, VAT included, and is dated June 22, 2021, according to the PP.
“Today the PSOE must show its face, give explanations and tell the Valencians if there have been bites or if they have participated in the festivities of the socialist deputy”, Catalá said.
