Madrid, Feb 28 (EFE).- The State Meteorological Agency (Aemet) forecasts for this Tuesday widespread frosts in the Balearic Islands and in the interior of the peninsula -except in western Andalusia- that can be strong in the mountainous systems of the center and peninsular north.
The snow level will be located in the Balearic Islands at 500 meters rising to 900 meters; in the northeast of the peninsula at 0/300 meters and at 300/600 meters in the rest.
The sky will be cloudy in the Cantabrian area and the Balearic Islands, with precipitation, which in the Balearic Islands can be locally strong or persistent and be accompanied by occasional storms.
Cloudy intervals in the rest of the northern half of the peninsula, Melilla and the Canary Islands, without ruling out some weak precipitation. Slightly cloudy or clear in the rest of the country.
Daytime temperatures will rise in the eastern half of the peninsula and the Balearic Islands, and with little change in the rest, while night temperatures will rise in the northeastern third of the peninsula and the Balearic Islands, and will drop in the southwestern third.
