Cornellà de Llobregat (Barcelona), Feb 25 (EFE).- Espanyol and Mallorca closed the first half at the RCDE Stadium with goals from the Danish Martin Braithwaite, in minute 22, and from Kosovar Vedat Muriqi, in minute 41.
Although the Balearic team started commanding, the Catalans took the lead on the first clear chance they had. Anyway, Javier Aguirre’s men insisted looking for a tie.
Finally, Muriqi collected the prize for persistence and restarted the duel, turning into an exchange of blows in the final stretch of these 45 minutes, at halftime.
