The topic has become a trend and achieved 1.5 million views in the first two hours of publication alone.
It is the first collaboration that the two artists carry out on the occasion of the release of Karol G’s new album, “Mañana ser bonito”, the fourth album since he began his recording career in 2017, with “Unstoppable”.
The ex-partners present in his music
Karol G (Medellín, 1991) had previously published a message for Anuel AA in his song “MAMII”, a duet with the singer BeckyG, and for which he has just won the Lo Nuestro award for Urban Song of the Year at a gala held in Miami (USA).
This is one of the four awards that the Colombian has won, including the most important trophy, Artist Of The Year, along with Female Artist Of The Year-Urban and Song Of The Year.
Shakira (Barranquilla, 1977) has also won three other awards as Female Pop Artist of the Year, Pop Collaboration of the Year and Song of the Year-Urban Pop for “Te felicito” with the Puerto Rican Rauw Alejandro, the first of this trilogy of songs dedicated to to his ex-partner, Gerard Piqué.
This release comes after the great media stir caused by Shakira’s previous song, session #53 with the Argentine producer Bizarrap, which in just two weeks accumulated almost 162 million views on platforms such as Spotify.
