Madrid (EFE).- International Airlines Group (IAG) -to which Iberia, British Airways, Vueling, Aer Lingus and Level belong- earned a total of 431.5 million euros in 2022, bringing back the two-year slump caused by the covid that led him to accumulate losses of more than 9,800 million.
According to the information sent to the National Securities Market Commission (CNMV), the group led by the Spanish Luis Gallego managed to invoice 23,066 million euros, almost three times more than in 2021, due to the sharp increase in activity.
These results are published the day after IAG and Globalia announced the agreement for the acquisition of the entire capital of Air Europa by the Spanish-British group, for 400 million euros, to which are added the 100 that it had already paid last August.
