Valladolid (EFE).- The Junta de Castilla y León has summoned 1,390 places for teachers in more than 80 specialties, the vast majority of them for the Compulsory Secondary Education (ESO) stage, through an opposition contest scheduled for June in a date and places yet to be determined.
Most of the places (1,254) will reduce the internship and will contribute to greater stability within the ESO teaching staff through quality employment, sources from the Education Council of the Castilla y León Government reported this Friday. .
The remaining 136 vacancies will be distributed as follows: specialist teachers in singular sectors of Vocational Training (79), Music and Performing Arts (32), Plastic Arts and Design (14), Official School of Languages (7) and Workshop Teachers (4).
At the beginning of March, the submission period will open for applications to participate in the competition-opposition with the largest number of places offered since Castilla y León assumed powers in the field of Education, according to the same sources.
At the moment, the exact date of the opening of the application period is unknown, as well as that of the exams and specific places of celebration, which will be 82 in the nine provinces of Castilla y León, distributed by specialties: Ávila (9), Burgos (9), León (14), Palencia (7), Salamanca (9), Segovia (5), Soria (10), Valladolid (11) and Zamora (8).
