Granada, (EFE).- The Judicial Police has required the City Council of Maracena (Granada) to safeguard the municipal files corresponding to the areas of Urban Planning, Contracting, Secretariat and Intervention, as reported to EFE on Thursday by municipal sources.
This request coincides with the investigation opened by the Civil Guard as a result of the kidnapping of the councilor of the government team of the Maracena City Council Vanessa Romero, allegedly at the hands of the mayoress’s sentimental partner, Berta Linares (PSOE), who remains detained at the He hopes to go to court this Friday.
According to municipal sources, the consistory has processed the letter of the Judicial Police, whose purpose is to avoid the modification of the files.
Councilwoman kidnapped by the mayor’s ex-boyfriend
The objective, they have added, is that these can go to court before any requirement, in compliance with legality and transparency, and guarantee the operation of all areas of the City Council.
The victim, the councilor for the “Maracena 2030” area Vanessa Romero, was kidnapped this Tuesday when she was taking her children to a school in Atarfe, where the arrested man -the mayoress’s boyfriend- approached her and apparently asked her for the favor of to take him in his car to a gas station.
Romero, who was previously a Town Planning councillor, would have pointed out to the Civil Guard the possibility that her kidnapping was related to compromising information that she had on municipal management.
The councilor has appeared this Thursday again at the command, although the Civil Guard has not confirmed to EFE if it has been to expand or modify previous statements or for any other management. EFE
