Ciudad Real (EFE).- Buyers from more than one hundred countries will be present at the next edition of the National Wine Fair, Fenavin 2023, which will be held in May in Ciudad Real.
The Fenavin organization has highlighted that, once the pandemic was over, “with the restrictions that the situation entailed, especially in countries like China, strongly affected, and although restrictions are maintained in Russia”, the various institutions that collaborate with the fair have already a few months working in the groups of buyers that will attend the Fair.
Taking into account that there are around 220 countries globally, they highlight that around 42% of them will not miss the great business event that the National Wine Fair represents.
Fenavin’s buyer attraction model, a model for other fairs
Fenavin’s process of attracting buyers has been, since its inception, a model for many other agri-food fairs that have institutionalized this business reality, whose purpose is to promote direct business opportunities at the fair and increase the possibilities of deferred business.
Thus, first of all, the program makes it easier for international buyers to find out about Fenavin’s global offer and, through the business search engine, to select the wineries that meet the requirements they are looking for.
Secondly, the organization facilitates being able to schedule, one month in advance, business meetings so that when the fair begins the work agendas are already full.
In this way it is favored that exhibitors do not attend a fair with the “uncertainty” of the business possibility that they are going to find, but in advance they can study their export objectives by contacting the buyers who are closest to them. the productive characteristics of the wineries.
Likewise, with regard to the subsector of international demand, the possibility is favored that buyers can carry out the product knowledge work in a month that, otherwise, could take more time and numerous trips.
