Seville, (EFE) and “lack of transparency” of the Board.
In the last of the communiqués, made public by ANPE, the centrals inform that they have risen from the meeting called for this day in protest “in the face of the lack of negotiating spirit and contempt for the legitimate representation of the teaching staff.”
“The recurring practice of this Ministry of combining advertising in the media with collective bargaining totally perverts the negotiating spirit of the tables”, it is stated in the press release, signed by all the unions, which coincide in criticizing the announcement to you media of the new curriculum for next year while negotiating with the unions.
Cut off the actual dialog
They have assured that they recently addressed the deputy minister, Esperanza O’Neill, conveying this discomfort to her and, to date, no response has been received, for which reason they have urged those responsible for this department “to rectify their attitude and redirect negotiation processes.
Before, the rest of the unions had criticized the “difficulties” on the part of the Ministry of Educational Development and Vocational Training “so that any documentation can be analyzed with a certain margin.”
The president of the Education Sector of the CSIF-A, Elena García, lamented that “with this attitude, the Board curtails a real dialogue with the legitimate representatives of the teaching staff and considers the Tables as a mere procedure and after having sold to hype and plant what he considers benefits of his management.
“It is not acceptable that the documentation of the tables is sent the night before, thus leading to the impossibility of having an adequate study of the issues and to generating a true dialogue on the different issues,” he said.
The Union of Education Workers Unions in Andalusia (USTEA) already announced a week ago that it was considering leaving the negotiating table after the Board informed the media of the curriculum “at the same time that it was negotiating its content with the teachers.”
Working without regulatory support
In his opinion, this meant “the de facto rupture of the negotiation channels” since it turned the tables “into a mere procedure and a masquerade to which the Ministry attends without the intention of listening to the union representation and with the decisions already adopted ”.
For her part, the Secretary of Education of CCOO Andalucía, Marina Vega, has expressed her “fed up” with the “continuous contempt” of the counselor, Patricia del Pozo, to the unions, since “she comes with decisions already taken unilaterally and previously informed to the media”.
“We are not going to tolerate being ignored in this way, when we are working to solve a host of problems,” said the union representative.
The centrals have also highlighted that Andalusian teachers “have been working for a year without regulatory support due to the non-existence of regional curricular development of the state LOMLOE”, for which they have had to “supply with their effort and dedication what, in the best of cases is negligence of the Andalusian Administration, if not a covert boycott of the application of the current state Education law.
