Oviedo (EFE).- The Government of the Principality has set itself the objective of extending the ConeCTA card, which allows travel by urban and interurban bus throughout the Principality for 30 euros per month, beyond 2030.
“The goal is for the ConeCTA fee to be extended to more years. We would see how”, the president of the Principality assured today, who has qualified that the single ticket can be combined for buses and trains for those 30 euros per month while it will be free for those who are going to use only the Renfe and Feve suburban trains.
The flat rate came into force last September with a cost that represented a discount of up to 86 percent on the rates that were in force in the wings of the region.
The priority objective with its implementation was to offer a competitive road transport alternative at a good price and to reach where rail transport did not reach.
The flat rate allows unlimited access to all the interurban road transport services of the Asturias Transport Consortium (CTA), of the urban transport companies of Oviedo, Gijón and Mieres, and of the urban services provided by the CTA in the Avilés and Nalón regions, as well as all the rail commuter services, both Renfe and Feve.
