Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, Feb 20 (EFE).- The Lopesan group has appointed José Alba as the new general manager of the company’s hotel division, a professional with more than 20 years of experience in the tourism sector, as reported the aforementioned company this Monday in a statement.
Alba has been grateful for the trust placed in assuming this position, “a challenge that will mark” her professional career, she stated.
José Alba’s beginnings at Lopesan Hotel Group were linked to the commercial department, and later he assumed the management of the marketing and sales area associated with the European market, expanding his knowledge, in recent years, to the Asian and Central American markets.
José Alba has a degree in Business Management and Administration and Marketing Management from the Carlos III University of Madrid, and has several master’s degrees in Hotel and Restaurant Business Management, in Sales and Marketing and in Tourism Business Management.
The internationalization of the company, hand in hand with the consolidation of Lopesan Hotel Management as a global reference manager, the commitment to sustainable development and digitization, together with the commitment to continue offering a top-quality service, are confirmed and strengthened as the central axes of the business vision of the hotel chain, says the note.
