Badalona (Barcelona), (EFE).- Unicaja was proclaimed champion of the Copa del Rey this Sunday after defeating Lenovo Tenerife (80-83) in the final played at the Palau Olímpic in Badalona, led on the offensive by Tyler Kalinoski (14 points) and Tyson Carter (17 points, all after the break).
In their fourth final of the Copa del Rey, the Andalusian team won the title for the second time in its history after doing so in 2005, and ended thirteen editions of uninterrupted dominance by Barça and Real Madrid, who were beaten in the two previous rounds.
