Alaquàs (Valencia), (EFE).- An armed man remains entrenched in the room of a house in the Valencian municipality of Alaquàs (Valencia), sources close to the case have informed EFE.
According to the sources, apparently there has been a family discussion and the man, with two short weapons, has locked himself in one of the rooms of the house, located on Federico García Lorca street in the municipality
Agents of the National Police and the Local Police have moved to the place, which has cordoned off the street, as well as members of the special operations group to try to access the house.
The mayor of Alaquàs, Antonio Saura, has explained to EFE that it was the man’s wife and two children, who are safe outside the house, who have alerted to the situation, which has occurred after a family discussion.
According to Saura, the entrenched man, who is in a room in the house whose windows face the outside of the building, is an “acquaintance” of the Alaquás Local Police, who has already intervened in that house on other occasions.
