The woman had injuries

The woman stated that she could not move or get out of bed because she had been severely beaten in the leg, and she showed the civil guards some bruises and obvious signs of serious physical abuse, according to the sources.

Arrested for a crime of gender violence

The agents arrested the 36-year-old man and French nationality, sentimental partner of the 45-year-old victim and also French, as the alleged perpetrator of a crime of gender violence.

For his part, the victim was assisted by the medical services at the scene and later transferred to the Regional Hospital of Vinaròs in the company of their son.
