Sánchez has commented on his plans for this change in an informal conversation with the journalists who are covering the first of his tours through fifteen countries to prepare for the European presidency of the EU and whose first stops are Austria, Croatia and Slovenia.
The head of the Executive already commented at the end of last year that his idea was to modify his Government close to the electoral campaign of the municipal elections on May 28, in which the Minister of Health will run for mayor of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria and the Minister of Industry to be mayoress of Madrid.
Since then, there have been rumors about the possibility of bringing forward these relays and that he would take the opportunity to make more changes after the controversy over the consequences of the Law on the Comprehensive Guarantee of Sexual Freedom.
However, Sánchez has rejected that possibility and has insisted that there will only be changes in the ministries of Health and Industry.
It will be in March when he faces the remodeling because he has said that there are still pending tasks for both ministers.
Recently, Maroto has indicated that one of his objectives before leaving the ministry is to achieve a State pact for the industry.
Sánchez assures that he has not yet decided on the names of the two ministers who are going to replace Darias and Maroto, although he is already thinking of candidates.
In this regard, he said that the PSOE has enough people trained to face responsibilities like these.
