Madrid (EFE).- With immersive experiences, including the possibility of watching a fashion show and sharing a relaxing space with the designers for 60 euros, the 77th edition of the Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Madrid catwalk (MBFWM) starts this Thursday. in which Jorge Vázquez, Custo Barcelona or Agatha Ruiz de la Prada will show their collections for autumn-winter 2023-2024.
“The intention is to facilitate access for all audiences to this magical universe that is created around fashion”, explains the general director of Ifema, Juan Arrizabalaga.
In this new edition, a pilot test will be carried out to measure the “interest that the catwalk has as an experiential and cultural event,” explains Arrizabalaga.
“It is about enhancing the social attraction of the world of fashion, bringing it closer to new audiences, which otherwise would not have access to the presentations”, he adds.
Thus, two immersive experiences are going to take place at Ifema. The first, “Cibelespacio Experience”, with a price of 10 euros, offers the possibility of accessing Cibelespacio, an area surrounding the fashion show hall where various activities take place and where the youngest designers also show and put on for sale their creations.

The second, “Pasarela Experience”, with a cost of 60 euros, allows access to Cibelespacio and enjoys a parade. In addition, it provides the opportunity to “enter the ‘kissing room’, a room where you can enjoy a moment of relaxation surrounded by your favorite designers”, according to Ifema’s website.
Agatha Ruiz de la Prada inaugurates the catwalk
Agatha Ruiz de la Prada will be in charge of inaugurating the catwalk with a collection in which, as usual in her universe, light, color and joy will shine.
Next, the firm Andres Sarda will show one of his inspired by the outfits worn on the ski slopes, lingerie-inspired garments based on French embroideries in silver combined with satin or golden tulle.
Perseverance, hard work, clear ideas and perfection in everything he does are the ingredients of Jorge Vázquez’s success, a designer who on this occasion travels to Marrakech in the 1960s to dress women wrapped in mysticism and hippie airs.
Pedro del Hierro will show a collection marked by the evolution of the brand and its trajectory towards the design of silhouettes that coexist between men and women, creating a dialogue through colours, textures and shapes.
For the first time, “TFP by Támara Falcó”
Part of the “TFP by Támara Falcó” collection will be shown on the catwalk for the first time at MBFWM with the attendance of its creative director, Támara Falcó, at the fashion show.

Pablo Erroz, with great sensitivity to promote local products and techniques, returns to the Madrid catwalk with a collection with craftsmanship and sustainability as flagships.
The designer Fabio Encinar, the soul of the Encinar firm, famous for its garments with hyperbolic volumes, arrives on the catwalk with the idea that fashion is “a tool that, in addition to covering a need, serves to express oneself without a voice.”
Hannibal Laguna, Roberto Torreta, Teresa Helbig, Custo Barcelona, Maya Hansen, Paloma Suárez, Otrura, Isabel Sanchis or Duarte will be some other designers who will participate in this new edition, in which the Lóreal París Prize will be awarded to the best model and to the best collection.
