Oviedo, Feb 16 (EFE).- Asturias registered eleven forest fires early this Thursday in ten community councils, all of them pending review throughout the morning, the Principality’s Emergency Service (SEPA) has reported. .
The registered outbreaks are in El Valle, in Allande; La Paraya, in Aller; Monte Courio and Castañera, in Belmonte de Miranda; Carballo, in Cangas del Narcea; San Tirso, in Cangas de Onís; Veneros, in Case; Navedo, in Lena; Cuñaba, in Peñamellera Baja; Ricabo in Quirós; and La Mortera, in Valdés.
Yesterday, the Principality activated the Forest Fire Plan (INFOPA) in the emergency phase in situation 0 given the weather forecast for the coming days and the possibility that the number of fires could increase.
