Washington (EFE).- The president of the World Bank (WB), David Malpass, informed the Executive Board of the organization on Wednesday of his intention to leave office before the end of the fiscal year.
This was announced this Wednesday by the agency through a statement, which did not give details of the reasons for his departure. Proposed by former US President Donald Trump (2017-2021), Malpass had held the position since April 2019.
