One of the investigative proceedings is related to the alleged offer to a temporary worker of the Albacete City Council of the post-2019 opposition exams.
The second, on the possible filtering of questions from the multiple choice exam carried out in 2023, as reported by the Albacete Prosecutor’s Office in a press release.
The Prosecutor’s Office has specified that the investigative procedures have been initiated after the complaint made by a political party and the news that appeared in the media regarding the possible leak of evidence to access the Local Police.
It has indicated that in both proceedings tests are being carried out to clarify the facts and that the proceedings are confidential.
The Albacete City Council paralyzed the oppositions in January
The Albacete City Council paralyzed the opposition to the Local Police at the end of January of this year due to the alleged leak of the content of the second exercise of the phase.
At that time, the local government began an internal investigation due to the “consistency of the indications that opponents knew part of the questions that were on the exam.”
As a result of the alleged leak being known, a PSOE adviser in the Albacete City Council, governed in coalition by Socialists and Ciudadanos, was dismissed and expelled from her party.
In addition, the PP has requested the holding of an extraordinary and urgent plenary session to address this issue, which will be held next week.
