The Criminal Chamber has reviewed the sentence of the “procés” after the reform of the Criminal Code that repeals the crime of sedition and modifies the crime of embezzlement.
In an order, the Chamber concludes that it must sentence Junqueras and the ex-ministers Raül Romeva, Jordi Turull and Dolors Bassa for a crime of disobedience with a crime of embezzlement, for which reason it refuses to reduce their disqualification sentence, while Jordi Sanchez and Jordi Cuixart does condemn them for aggravated public disorder.
