Madrid (EFE).- Bankruptcy proceedings for natural persons grew by 134% in the last quarter of 2022, reaching 4,407 procedures, according to provisional data published this Monday by the College of Registrars.
In a statement, the Registrars highlight that in the fourth quarter of last year the total number of debtors insolvent rose to 5,544, which represents an increase of 86.4% compared to the same period of the previous year, and 78.4%. compared to the previous quarter.
By type of contest, between October and December 4,148 volunteers (182.9% more than in the fourth quarter of 2021); consecutive, 1,361 (9.4% less), and necessary, 35 (four times more than in the fourth quarter of 2021).
