Logroño, (EFE).- The American newspaper The Washington Post has dedicated an article to Logroño, with a tour of its wineries, gastronomy, culture and its section of the Camino de Santiago.
The Logroño City Council has linked to its Twitter account the article by David Farley, who praises the city for its “renowned food and wine, without crowds.”
For the author of the report, the capital of Rioja deserves a pilgrimage for lovers of red wine and for travelers who travel the Camino de Santiago.
Among the attractions of Logroño, Farley also highlights the possibility of “getting lost in the labyrinth of narrow streets of the Casco Antiguo” without travel companions.

The author of the report, whose wife is from Logroño, highlights the “memorable” restaurants, bars and hotels that have been launched in the Rioja capital in recent years.
In addition, it proposes a route through the eight wineries located in the municipal area and a visit to its vineyards, with the possibility of tasting its wines, especially the red ones.
For Farley, a stay in Logroño is inconceivable if trying and enjoying the pinchos on Laurel and San Juan streets, which have some bars where you can only taste a single product.
He also does not forget to mention the Michelin-starred restaurants in the city, which offer fusion cuisine dishes with the gastronomy of other countries, and end the tour with an artisan ice cream. EFE
