València (EFE).- Agents of the National Police have arrested a woman in Gandia (Valencia) as the alleged perpetrator of the crimes of ill-treatment in the family and breach of sentence, after threatening to kill her partner with a knife, who had a restraining order in effect.
The events occurred last Monday, around 9:00 p.m., when the police officers were commissioned by the 091 Room to go to a local home, where apparently a woman was threatening her sentimental partner with a knife.
The agents went to the place and once there they found out that a couple would have had an argument and, at one point, she would have stuck a 10-centimeter-long kitchen knife into his mobile phone and, then, would have placed the knife to the neck while affirming that he was going to kill him.
The man managed to get away from the woman and alert 091, reports the National Police.
The policemen intervened the kitchen knife presumably used by the suspect, as well as the fractured mobile phone.
They also verified that the entrance door to the home had numerous damages, presumably caused by the woman with the knife.
The agents found out that the alleged aggressor had a restraining order in force for the victim, as well as a search by a Gandia Criminal Court.
For all these reasons, they arrested the 35-year-old woman of Spanish origin, as the alleged perpetrator of the crimes of mistreatment in the family environment and breach of sentence.
The arrested woman, with a police record, has gone to court, the same sources report.
