Zaragoza, Feb 11 (EFE).- The president of Aragon, Javier Lambán, thanked this Saturday for the support he has received for his “umpteenth health mishap” and which has kept him admitted to the Miguel Servet hospital in Zaragoza since last Thursday, although “it seems that it is close to being resolved.”
This has been confirmed by the president in a message on his Twitter account, in which he expresses his “eternal gratitude” to the health personnel of the Ejea Health Center and the Miguel Servet Hospital and says “thank you to all those who have been interested ” for him.
“Science and affection combined make miracles”, concluded Lambán.
The president of Aragon and general secretary of the Aragonese socialists was admitted at dawn last Thursday at the Servet hospital with a urine infection, according to sources from the regional government.
The day before, he had a slight fever in the afternoon and the doctors decided to transfer him from his home in Ejea de los Caballeros (Zaragoza) to the Miguel Servet hospital, where he was admitted at around 1:15 a.m. as a precaution, since in October 2020 he suffered postatitis of infectious origin.
Lambán underwent surgery in May 2021 at that same hospital for colon cancer that was diagnosed in February of that same year and which he has overcome, although he follows the usual medical check-ups.
