Madrid (EFE).- Mapfre obtained net attributable profit of 642.1 million euros in 2022, 16.1% less than the previous year, which the entity attributes to the impact of high inflation rates in most of markets, as well as the increase in car accidents and other catastrophic accidents.
As reported by the insurer to the CNMV on Thursday, the Group’s income grew by 8.3% and reached 29,510 million euros.
Likewise, premiums rose 10.8% and exceeded 24,540 million euros, thanks to a “general improvement in the insurance business” in practically all the regions where it operates, especially in Latin America and North America, as well as the good evolution of the reinsurance.
