The Festival will prioritize the quality of the musicians and their connection with the public.
Maria Schneider at the jazz festival
Schenider, after a decade of collaborations with Norwegian musicians, will tour European festivals, including Vitoria.
The double album “Data Lords” has received numerous accolades, including two Grammy Awards.
This record denounces the power of data handled by big technologies and the benefits they obtain from the exploitation of user information.
Schneider has won Grammy Awards in both jazz and classical genres, and was an essential piece on David Bowie’s latest jazzy album, Blackstar.
Brad Mehldau in Vitoria jazz
On Thursday, July 6, pianist Brad Mehldau will take the stage accompanied by Larry Grenadier, on double bass, and Jeff Ballard, on drums.

Since the mid-1990s, Mehldau has been a regular on stage, where he manages to offer his double personality: that of an improviser and that of a formalist.
The surprise of his improvised interpretations and his virtuosity have earned him a multitude of followers.
Mehldau has collaborated with musicians well known to the public at the Vitoria Festival, such as Joshua Redman and Pat Metheny. EFE
