Palma, Feb 8 (EFE).- The Swede Ludwig Augustinsson, on loan to Mallorca from Sevilla until the end of this season, has many options to debut with the Mexican team Javier Aguirre on Saturday at the Ramón Sánchez Pizjuán stadium due to the Low due to suspension of Jaume Costa.
Augustinsson trained this Wednesday at the same pace as the rest of his teammates at the Son Bibiloni facilities ahead of Saturday’s game against Sevilla, corresponding to matchday twenty-one of LaLiga Santander.
Aguirre, however, could also choose to change bands, from the right to the left, to full-back Pablo Maffeo and place the Uruguayan Giovanni González in that position, who last Sunday played against Real Madrid in the central position accompanying Antonio Raillo and Matija Nastasic for the loss of Martín Valjent and José Copete.
Augustinsson, who was already part of the squad against Real Madrid, signed for Sevilla in the 2021-2022 season from Werder Bremen in the Bundesliga.
Mallorca asked Sevilla for the loan of the Swede to cover the loss of the Argentine Brain Cufré, who left for New York City in the MLS.
